Products that claim to be “clinically proven” should be treated with caution.
That is a marketing term that simply means they conducted their own private study to demonstrate the desired outcome for the company. It is not the same as a “scientifically proven” study that has been published and is available for peer review.
For example, this toothpaste is recommended by 9 out of 10 dentists*.
