What LEGO's Retiring Soon page says right now
LEGO's official US Retiring Soon page lists 319 products as of September 18, 2026, spread across 14 pages. That is LEGO's own counter, and it is climbing fast.
The Brick Fan counted 140 items on that page on September 14, then noted days later that many more had been added. Jay's Brick Blog called this week's additions hundreds of sets. The end-of-year cut is on.
Here is the part most coverage skips: LEGO's page shows no dates. LEGO never publishes a retirement date for any set. Every exit date below comes from Brickset, the fan database, and it is an expectation, not a promise.
One honest note on our data. Our tracker reads the first page of LEGO's list on each visit and keeps every set it has seen there over recent weeks, which gives us 44 sets, a slice of LEGO's 319, not the whole thing.

Of the 44 sets we track, 19 blew past their Brickset expected exit and are still for sale on LEGO's page. Most were expected gone by July 31, 2026. Every one is still listed as of September 18.
The extreme case is the 43217 'Up' House ($59.99, 598 pieces). Brickset expected it to exit by September 30, 2024. Almost two years later, LEGO still lists it.
So read every date in the table as a forecast, not a countdown. A lapsed estimate means the guess was early, nothing more. Some other sets that outlived their dates:

Wait, skip, and the Black Friday math
Wait on anything with a lapsed date. Those 19 sets already outlived their estimates, and panic-buying a set LEGO keeps extending is how you pay full price for something that may get a sale later.
Black Friday is 70 days away. For mid-priced sets you like but do not love, that is the sale window to watch. The gamble is that Brickset's December 31 estimates hold, and 24 of our tracked 44 carry exactly that date.
Skip buying small sets as investments. A $9.99 Yellow Taxi or a $19.99 Duplo set leaving the page is not a payday. Buy sets to build them.

What retiring actually does to prices
When a set retires, LEGO.com stops selling it, store stock sells through, and after that the only sellers are resellers. For sets people still want, that usually means prices go up, not down.
That is why the order of operations is simple: verified discount first, MSRP second, aftermarket never. The worst outcome is paying a reseller next year for a set that sat at full price all fall.
